Well, that was a nice way to get out of the house!
I had a walk 'round the neighborhood last night, but that hardly felt like a good days' exercise. So this afternoon I went off to do another segment of the W&OD Trail. Did around four and a half miles from Sterling to Ashburn; still quite a lot more to do, both westward and east of East Falls Church, but as long as I keep doing ~5 miles every weekend I will finish it before the end of the year. If I can enlist a chase crew, that much the better; I can do straight shots.
I did some dishes this morning (it's astonishing how many dishes a big meal makes, even if it's just a big meal for one person--luckily my days in the bakery trained me to clean up some things as I go along) and had a good breakfast. Now I've showered, petted cats, played a little solitaire. Time to do some more work preparing for the game Sunday.

Date: 2006-11-24 10:54 pm (UTC)I would like to be able to do it end-to-end at least once.
Of course, I'd also like to do some of the other local trails!
