Thanks! I've looked into volunteer firefighting jobs a couple of times, but at least in the US most crews are apparently "volunteer" in name only and the fire companies would reall rather you donated money so they can pay their crew than volunteer time to work on one. I'm fairly strong, fit (or getting there), love being on the water, and am usually a good team player. It seems like a good thing to do.
