Whaddaya say, john_arundel? gr_c17 can provide transport for the lumber, and I'm good at drilling holes in things. Isn't this just what your basement needs?

It's able to be disassembled and reassembled in under 20 minutes.....Hmmm

That is the table design that's been in my head for years now!!!! Finally someone has gone and done it. My idea had a few different things, one was nice trim work and claw feet. The other was to use cabinet fixtures for storage under the table. Slide out baskets and drawers. Of course that would mean it's a permanent table.

Oh yea...I'll be happy to transport materials
