Luckily incidences like this one show his true face and increase the chance that he will be out of there early next year. Not soon enough, but short of a bullet to the head (or maybe a pretzel) I don't think we can get him out of there before then.
I fricking hate this man, his minions, his sidekick, and the people who don't understand exactly wtf is going on. *shakes head* I used to think that people just weren't trying. Now I think a good many of them are just morons.
As I said to my officemate this morning, what astonishes me is not the tastelessness or insensitivity of the attempted humour (I think George II is way further out of touch with his subjects than George I was) but what sounds to me like the unbelievable incompetence of his PR team. NO ONE should ever have let this go forward, not even for the Gridiron Dinner. This is a big, slimy loogie hocked in the face of the vets who have served in Iraq, the guys who have come back with no legs, the families of the 500+ who have been killed. This is a frat boy joke in the middle of a meeting of people who have to deal with real life. This guy should be so ashamed of himself he should *resign*. What an asshole.
