short ride

winterbadgerShort ride this morning, route 1 through the neighborhood, about 2 miles. My average speed is going up a good deal, up to 9.1 mph overall and 9.5 mph today. Of course, I didn't hit the fourth or (rare) fifth hill today, but I did ride up the Big Hill as far as the Dog Peoples' driveway. Practicing a bit using one hand to do something else while I pedal. Tricky, but I didn't ride into any riot policemen (yet).

BTW: Nicholas says "Life is hard! I am bored! Phineas is no fun this morning and there are no birds or squirrels to watch! Wah!" :-) Poor kitty!
