winterbadgerC and I will be absent from Sunday's reenacting because both of us will be heading to RFK Stadium for the opening of DC United's 2006 season! Yay! Hopefully we will be present for the first crushing of the former NY/NJ MetroStars (aka the MetroScum), now RedBull[sh*t] NY. This should be quite the fun time, as RedBull NY is bringing 800 or more of their fans with them (allegedly), having offered a free roadtrip as an inducement to get folks out for the new season. Presumably they'll be cryin' intae their wee cans o' nasty energy drink all the way back tae New Jersey after United give them a dam' good thrashing!
At least, I certainly hope we do, as A. will be coming with me to the game, and I'd hate for her first meeting with the Boys in Black to be anythign but glorious. :-)
