Re-sult!

I wasn't entirely happy with the term paper I turned in for my current grad school class. I spent way too long researching it and didn't start writing soon enough, and I was conscious of all the extra detail I ought to have be able to cram in (though, anticipating it would come in on the short end of the 15-20pp required, I finished up with 19pp including the biblio).

So I've been checking to see since I turned it in whether it had turned up graded yet.

27.6 out of 28 marks (don't ask--it's some weird system).

"Outstanding job on your paper, well written and well researched. I've attached a copy with a few comments." (The comments consisted of three typos he noticed and two places where he agreed with information I had included but wanted to note caveats to it.)

So, a 98 (effectively) on the paper and a 95 on the midterm. Class participation and the final still to go...
