Gilbert', the official 'Town Cat' has been found safe and well in Camore after he scared everyone in Dornoch by his almost two-week disappearance.
Gilbert has been looked after by local people for some years but vanished on the night of Sunday, 20 November 2005. Despite intensive searches by many Dornoch residents, nothing had been seen of him until today (Friday 2 December 2005) when he was found in Camore.
It's possible that someone thought they could provide a better home for him, without knowing just how famous he is.
Still up for Saturday? Freer-Sackler @ Smithsonian Dec. 3, 1 pm, outside entrance nearest the Smithsonian Metro unless the weather's nasty, in which case, inside. I emailed you (the address on your website) some more details.
