Today so far: A lovely long sleep followed by a very nice brunch with the lovely deridere and her buddy April (her, furry, black, well behaved canine buddy April, that is). Now off here for more relaxation.

Blissful weather, this. I have paperwork I need to do at home this afternoon, but if the weather stays like this through next week, I'm definitely taking part of the weekend to go here or here for some hiking. Anyone interested?

Also, Mr Rockefeller and I are thinking of running an English Civil War miniatures game on the 16th to test out some new rules he's written. Anyone interested in participating?

I'm in horrible shape too! I don't even dare go back to my Sunday soccer pick-up games until I've had a few weeks to do a bit of running in the morning and clear the cobwebs out of my lungs.

PWFP is a lovely place to ramble. Let's plan on a visit next week, and anyone else would be welcome to join us. Saturday or Sunday better for you? My preference would be to go down in the morning either day, walk, maybe have something to eat and either walk more or head back. Thoughts?

Your idea of a ramble followed by sustenance sounds lovely! I may have a prior engagement on Saturday, so at this point Sunday might be best.

My prior engagement of yesterday turned into an overnighter Friday, followed by a day-long party and walkabout. I am too pooped to think of anything except sticking close to home where the promise of several naps hangs in the air. I must be getting old!

Would it offend to request a raincheck of some sort?

I'd be upo for a ramble, but it's the red dress run saturday, so I assume I'll be hungover on Sunday. I actually ended up going to Gambril with April yesterday afternoon.

Indeed they did not! :-) They gave me helpful advice about avoiding muscle cramps in the morning.

Yep, sneaking off a few hours (which I then have to make up) for the illicit fun of having a pretty Indian DDS sink a drill into my tooth. I'm such a skiver. :-)
