That's the apartment vacuumed, the kitchen and bathroom floors mopped, one load of laundry going, trash taken out, and recycling sorted to go (not taken, mind you, but at least it's ready...)

As always when I mop the floors, I'm reminded it's not much work if one get's off one's arse and does it. Even when you have cats "helping". I even did part of the box room, since they're always making a mess of the floor and I'd vacuumed it already.

Of course, I'm also always reminded at these times that the lino/tile floors could do with a good "hands and knees, Ruby the Scullery Maid" *scrubbing* every once in a while. And, as always, I aver that *next* time I jolly well will...

I'm parched. Time for a brew-up, I think. Then maybe work on that letter, or do more hunting for travel accomodations. Then maybe ironing with telly or filing papers with music (I'm telling you, once I get ethe filing system *set up*, it will work perfectly; it's just that I never do, so the papers all pile up until they fall over and I have to put them in a box...) I had a hamsandwich for tea, since I didn't bother with lunch, so I think maybe salad for dinner, if anything. Early night, then up and start doig some stretching/exercise in the mornings before work.

One can do almost anything if one set's one's mind to it; it's just that minds keep unsetting themselves.

Edit: So, none of those later chores getting done, but I did start another load of laundry and take all the cardboard/paper recycling to the recycling center. And I've been invited to dinner Upstairs again; lucky me! :-) Yum...
