I'm goign to write to the station and tell them what I think of such behavior. I'll also write to anyone I can find who advertises with them. This is unacceptable.

Sincerely, good luck with the letter, but any station that also airs Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity aren't exactly reasonable to begin with...

Here's what I'm sending them

I'm disgusted by the recent comments of Michael Graham in which he called the entire Islamic religion a terrorist organization. Lots of members of the IRA are Catholic; does that make the Roman Catholic Church a terrorist organization? Timothy McVeigh was an American; does that make all Americans terrorists?

I'm also dismayed and angry that your station does not seem to feel that there is anything wrong with Mr. Graham's comments, judging by the response of Mr. Bloomquist quoted in the Washington Post on Tuesday. This sort of hate speech is the last thing we as Americans need to hear right now, and your station should be reprimanding Mr. Graham for his bigotry, not excusing him.

Please be assured that I will be writing to your advertisers as well, letting them know that, since your station apparently endorses hate speech, I will not be using any of their products or services until WMAL issues an apology for Mr. Graham's remarks and suspends him o they cease doing business with you.
