Many thanks to those who suggested checking out the new Battlestar Galactica. I watched the first episode tonight, and I was very impressed. I think they've done a tremendous job of taking the classic but awful original series and updating it and improving it. I have tremendous respect and appreciation for Edward James Olmos, ad I've seen Mary McDonnell enough to know she's a good actor as well. I've added the miniseries pilot to the front of my Netflix roster, and I've added the eps to my TiVo roster, though I missed today's marathon.
