I'm excited and happy because my sweetie is coming back a day early from her trip. It sounds as if she had a very pleasant and satisfying (if busy and exhausting) time of it. I hope the snow does not provoke any delays in her flight schedule; I know she'd much rather be home, decompressing, with her kitties than sitting in an airplane waiting to land/take off/get to a gate.

It was on time &c., yes. It did snow all day, which I wasn't expecting, but that meant that the airfield crews had it pretty much under control, I think. And it wasn't sleeting or terrifically heavy or anything.
