I shared this link (http://buriedtreasurebooks.com/PrairieMuffinManifesto.php) that brithistorian had pointed me to with several friends. My buddy Nick put it best:

I was impressed with how this woman managed to put forward precepts for living that are actually quite admirable, with two or three exceptions, and package them in a way that made me want to vomit.
