well, on the whole, not a bad start to a Monday

Yes, I did lose half an hour this morning tryign to find my wallet, but I did *find* it eventually, which means I don't have to replace all the stuff in it. And when I finally got to work, I discovered that our team had won the extention of our contract for another five years, which we had all been worrying about for a week or two, since we were going up against some pretty heavy hitters (BAe and Booz Allen). So life is not so bad :-)

Congrats on both counts! (I was glad to hear from my phone messages that the wallet saga had ended happily.)

I, on the other hand, had a fairly beastly morning trying to get to work. But now that I'm hear, life ain't so bad. (Of course, cookies would make it better, but you can't have everything.)
