The really cute person I've been dating decided she just isn't in a dating mood these days. And I have mice, apparently, running around my kitchen when I'm not there, which the resident three (3) cats are doing nothing about. And my editor at work is maddeningly and wildly inconsistent (she's told several of us opposite things within the span of days). And I'm looking to spend the holiday season alone (again).

On the other hand, I have a coupon for free Ben & Jerry's *and* a coffee from Starbucks. And I got to play soccer for two hours on Sunday and didn't make a total ass of myself. So life could be worse.

Oh, don't feel guilty, dude. It's part of what LJ is for. :-) For most of us, life could always be a lot worse. That doesn't invalidate your problems and concerns.
