tired... so tired...

Not sure what the problem is, but I'm totally exhausted most of the time these days. And emotionally frazzled about half the time. Has it really only been three months since we were in Scotland? I am badly in need of some time off, to sleep, read, play a game or two, and spend some time outdoors. I feel like my mobile, which has been recharged so many times and drained so many times that its battery won't hold a charge any more.

And what's with spending 6-10 hours a day at a desk surrounded by walls, with constant horrid fluorescent lights and stale, recycled air? When I was a kid, I swore I was going to work outdoors, not get cooped up inside all the time. Yes, I'm glad sometimes I'm not a builder, when I see them out roofing in the middle of summer or working in cold, driving rain. But I never really thought I would spend all my days closed inside in front of a computer.

I have a couple of other rants, but I think I'll save them for another time...
