yay!

We're connected! Phone, TV cable and Internet cable all hooked up and ready to go! The fellows who showed up to take care of it took a while, but they got everything working int he end on the first visit, and they arrived within the time they were supposed to, all of which in the cable business is cause for celebration. As they were leaving, the one who had been most taciturn asked if he had heard us talking about football, were we football fans? and when I said yes said...something that I think was an indication he had done a cable install for George Weah once!

We had a lovely morning--N had a match, whihc her team won handily, down on the Mall, and then we wandered around, went to the Lincoln Memorial, and then went paddle-boating on the Tidal Basin. It was very fun!

Anyway, off, very late to meet some of N's friends at RFK for a BASEBALL game... :-)
