I was messing about with Google Earth again (damn, you Peter! :-) and decided to look for the street Chris and I lived on in Brookline.
I used the Brookline marker in Google Earth, but it was way far from anything I recognized as a landmark. So I looked for the trolley lines (the one that ran behind our house and the one that ran down the main street a few blocks north). And I looked for the Safeway (grocery stores stick out in residential neighborhoods). And I found our street. I *think* I found our house, but I'm not positive.

I wasn't sure, so I went to regular Google to the maps function, searched for "Beaconsfield Road, Brookline, MA" and switched to sat view and compared them. I was DEAD on to where our street (only about two blocks long) is. Sure enough, down at teh end is the church (across from which was the Lubavicher seminary) and the little park.
Somewhere an intel team is missing its imagery analyst...
