I'm never going to make it, am I?
Apr. 27th, 2005 02:48 pmInspired by recent conversations, I finally began my wargame inventory. I say "began" because so far I've only done the baordgames, not the miniatures rules (a few dozen) or the RPGs (may just sell those off instead) or the card games (ditto). And I've only recorded name and published so far, not all the other info I have spaces for in the database I built.
But I ended up at about 450, give or take. Which means I'm probably never going to actually play all of them, am I?
So then I thought, "Well, at least I've played lots of ASL scenarios, right? At least there I'm sure to be doing well." Think again, Spoor. I got what I think is the lastest Chronology of War (a listing that some ASL grognard puts together of all the official, unofficial, and [published] amateur ASL scenarios), and it's currently topping out at almost 2700 scenarios. *Maybe* I've played 100, but I doubt it.
*sigh* I really need to be independently wealthy and have several friends who are also and who love games.
