I have a penguin!
Feb. 18th, 2005 08:08 amI have the coolest, neatest, softest penguin in the world! :-) I am happy. :-)
N and I had a very nice Valentine's Day (observed) and one month anniversary (observed) dinner last night at Argia's, and I got this wonderful pengie as a gift! (This isn't the best picture of him, but it's the best I could find right off on the Net.)
Our waiter was very good, though he must have been appalled by the thick rosy haze of romantic mushiness that surrounded us. He got a good tip.
I continue to think this is a good match, for both of us. How many couples are there who interleave romantic endearments with discussions of the appointment of a Director of National Intelligence? Or plan their holidays around where they can see RAF patrol aircraft? We're continuing to plan our trip to Scotland this May (which may or may not go anywhere near RAF Kinloss), and we've begun thinking about a trip to Italy in the next year or so.
