Another six months and I'll have been here two years, after which I get A WHOLE EXTRA DAY OF LEAVE!!!

They are so generous here. I mean, imagine 17 days of combined sick/personal leave! What am I going to do with it all?

That's everything except holidays (of which we get nine: T'gving--2 days--Xmas, New Years, MLK, Presidents', Memorial, Independence, Labor).

Ah, but what kind of salaries? There's an NGA position waiting for me when the clearance comes through, with all kinds of government leave, pension plan, etc,. but it's only $36K, and I'm making $48K now...

That ought to be illegal.
In fact anything less than 20 days IS illegal here.
That's leave - not including sick leave and public holidays.
I'm not trying to evoke jealousy here, just expressing a sense of outrage. You have my sympathy.
