As anyone who reads Caught in the Net regularly should know by now, women in glasses fill me with hot, sweaty
glee. There's something about beautiful eyes surrounded by simple-yet-artistic frames that so gives
me wood. Especially when those beautiful eyes are set on a lovely face embraced by dyed-black hair, all part
of a naked, hot body, perhaps not entirely naked, but wearing a flouncy red plaid skirt, and maybe a tattoo,
and a saucy, saucy grin. But I digress.

Given my unnatural but entirely understandable predilection for women in glasses, it should come as no
surprise that librarians are often the objects of my fantasy lust. Naughty, naughty librarians. With
glasses, of course. Mmmm.

And I'm clearly not the only one with a twisted bibliophilia. River of Data, which bills itself as
home to a "variety of information related to libraries, and particularly to library technology," includes in
its librariana section a listing of 49 books, published between 1978 and 1988, which feature pornographic
accounts of hot librarian action. Some of the listings merely provide title and secret library code, while
others give author and date, and go into some detail about the plot (which means listing the various sex
acts and characters).

The most amusing aspect of the descriptions are the comments from the site's author indicating whether the
depictions of libraries in the novels are realistic. It seems that the stories tend to fall into two piles:
those apparently written by people who have clearly never even been in a library, and those apparently
written by librarians. Imagine! Librarians writing porn about librarians. About hot, horny librarians who
love sex with other librarians. While wearing glasses.
