vague travel noodlings

gr_c17, john_arundel, and I are vaguely thinking about taking a trip together in the Spring. Because it's us, we were thinking somewhere in the British Isles. It occurred to me that maybe we could go somewhere none of us have gone before, so I suggested Cornwall, Devon, or Wales (though there is still a strong sympathy for the idea of combining a visit to the Tower Armouries exhibits at Leeds with a walk along--or alongside--Hadrian's Wall).

Cornwall! A friend recently returned from there and LOVED it - she had amazing pics! I could get the info on the cottage she rented... ;)

It's hard to go wrong there, Devon, Cornwall, and Wales are all lovely. My Wales trip I think the highlights were the castles. Devon it was the moors.
