It's kind of sad when the time comes to take down the Xmas lights. :-(

And, goodness, it's fun having a lot of them, but it's also a bit of a chore putting them away!

I know. I got quite melancholy last weekend when I took down our tree and put away all of the ornaments and lights. There's not so much to look forward to in the winter when Christmas has come and gone.

Melissa didn't really understand my feelings. She thinks Christmas is nice, but she's never gotten excited about it or gotten into the "magic" of it, the way you and I are apt to do. I love that that's a trait we share.
