civilian applications

I'm reading about a company that produces attitude control systems (basically steering equipment for space vehicles and so forth) and the part of my mind that isn't doing anything else just at the meoment remarks that "there are probably millions of parents of teenagers all over the world who would pay for that kind of technology..." :-)

Heck, I'm not a parent and I'd still love to have one of those. I bet my coworkers would like me to have one too. ;)

LOL. I think my daughter came with one installed; she's actually a real sweetheart at 16. (she was a *terror* from 2-5, but I guess she got it all out of her system).
