Especially after discovering to my sadness that Aardman released another movie last Xmas that I never even heard about.

Ooh you'll love it. This has been out in the UK for a while now (under the title The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists same as the book title.

it was fun, but I suspect some of the subtle sight gags will go over the heads of non-Brits-of-a-certain-age. The kids here didn't even spot them!
