Woke up fairly early and spent the first few hours of the day trying to find the folder of cat vet records that I put together a few months ago.

I still haven't found that folder, but I found a large number of other records that should be in it, and I did a very preliminary pass through the Huge Heap of Paper that lives in one corner of my bedroom, plotting my demise. I always think I'm going to get around to culling it down to its bare essentials, filing them, and calling a fleet of recycling vans to take the rest away. But I never do so, like a cancer, it metastasizes. It still needs several more hours put into sorting, more culling, and filing, but it is now about 1/3 smaller, and I have several more bags of paper to put out for collection next Friday. Plus a few things I should take to work and put in the shredder.

Now time for breakfast!

I've just posted to Facebook about how I've spent 2½ hours decluttering the spare room, filling one bag of rubbish, one bag of card recycling and one bag of paper recycling, and it still doesn't look like I've touched a thing :0(
