Ah, the dangers of slacking off for a day or two, Doing my 10/10 today involved doing more like 15/10. What a cold, rainy day--it reminded me of running laps in JV soccer, with our pitted, muddy field.
The BG testing is going fine so far. The quack suggested I try all sorts of different times of day as well as the morning jab. I had one reading of 210 right after a huge lunch/dinner the other day (an entire Chipotle burrito), but the morning jabs have been good: 135, 115, 108 today. Not sure I understand why, when I checked after running, it was back to 135--does exercise elevate BG because the body is dumping it into the bloodstream to burn? I need to read more of the literature they gave me.
And down a couple of pounds as well; let's hope that trend continues.
And now for a shower, some brunch, and a ton of cleaning. Dust, vacuum, laundry, some scrubbing and mopping. And a quick trip for some groceries. Why, yes, I *am* having some company this evening--how did you guess? :-)
