Tax forms (and the check for the Comptroller of Maryland) in the mail this morning...

ETA: I find it hilarious how many emails I'm getting telling me about possible tax deductions I want to make sure I count. If I had filed my taxes three months ago the way I usually do, I think that would be rather annoying...

I've found that if I claim half as many deductions for Maryland as I do for the feds, I end up getting a *small* refund from the state. Of course if you're already at zero deductions this won't help...

What I hate is the way Maryland doesn't let you claim the MD taxes you've already paid as deductions! :-)


(I am, of course, joking, just in case there's anyone who doesn't get that. ;-)
