No, I seriously doubt it. He's quite a good chap, but nothing I know about him suggests a churchgoer to me.

(I've lived across the hall from him and his wife for several years, socialised with them from time to time, and I've wandered through their flat a good deal when I cat-sit for them.)

Turns out it was her, not him, and she was going to WORK! :-(

(She works IIRC, in costume for one of the local university theatres, for which 7am on a Sunday seems brutally early...)

If they've got a show coming up, then it's not unexpected. Costume work is like that - weeks of almost nothing and then a few weeks of working almost 24/7.
