Since I'm a greedy bastard As it was suggested to me it might be helpful, some ideas for birthday presents.

I love, but have not acquired any of, Avril Paton's Glasgow prints. Windows in the West, Dusk, and The Blue Room are three of my favourites.

In the same vein, I greatly admire Keith Rocco's Napoleonic prints and Don Troiani's and Ken Griffing's French and Indian and Revolutionary War art. I don't have a specific link for these, but FWIW "limited edition" and "signed by the artist" just add unnecessary 00s to the price tag, AFAIAC.

There are a couple of TV shows I collect. I was really taken by the miniseries The Crow Road and would like to own it. I'd also love to have the third season of Veronica Mars, any of The Wire (that's such a keeper), seasons 3-6 of Ballykissangel, seasons 3-5 of Babylon 5, or seasons 4-7 of Buffy.

And gifts to others are always great gifts for me.
