It does cut down on workplace socialising! But then, it also solves the problem of people who wear too much scent or like it boiling/freezing in the office.

Oh, I must add that at first glance it reminds me of where friends of mine in Ireland live -- in the former Vicar of Ireland's home. The house looks like it, except that their house needed a lot more work than this one, and whilst they don't have a loch, they have outbuildings and acres of land. They bought it about 12 years ago before property prices exploded in Ireland, and, as I said, it needed work.
