Hahaha, Dave is definitely good people. If you don't have his journal friended, you should (cf. latest entry on British Weather). Also, my "reference" on his userpage was of course, said in conversation in the nicest way possible. ;)

Pizza is a suprisingly sexist business. I have worked in pizza chains, pizza joints, and upscale pizza restaurants, and every single time I had to completely wow them to get them to let me run the ovens and slap out pizzas.

Fortunately, I happen to be a Pizza Goddess, so that is not an issue.
