just a quick entry

Saturday: Slept late. Lazed a lot. Went to poliscidiva's and played three games of Castle (score: me 2, her 1 !!), then met some of her friends, had dinner at the nearby and tasty Flat Top Grill, went to a totally kick-ass Dar Williams concert at the 9.30 Club (interesting place--never been there before), then came home.

Sunday: Blew off the walk as I felt like sleeping in again and my co-walker was busy and had to rain-check. Went out to look at bicycles, then came back in time to meet Bryan and Gerry, two of the fellows from my reenacting unit who had come over to roll cartridges for the event I'll be missing next weekend. We had a nice time, made and filled 92 blank rounds, then Gerry left; Bryan stayed and we ordered pizza (took over an hour to arrive! :-( No tip!) and we watched several eps of Wonderfalls, which he had never heard of but loved. Now, time to sleep more!

Edit: Actually, the 92 was only the second batch; we actually did 172 all together.

oh - somebody last night told me to say high to you. Uh.. Carole maybe? She saw your name on my donor list. I didn't catch her last name, but I took some pics of the people I met yesterday in the hopes that I can really match names and faces better later. (well, actually I'm going to ask people - now WHO is X?)

Erm. Bryan emailed everyone, back in the middle of September.

Ah, but I see the problem: he used the peter dot glenda at att dot net address, which apparently isn't working anymore (Gerry used it too more recently, and emailed me when his message got bounced back,a nd I referred him to your work address).

But the rolling party was mentioned in the Whitpain event notice too; did you not get that when Gerry resent it?

So we thought you knew and you just couldn't make it. :-(
