Bittereinder and Savannah arrived int he mail the other day--more tempty fun historical things.

I've almost finished rereading the revised rules to Thirty Years War so that perhaps I can finally start playing it with vikingcat before he dies of old age. :-)

And I need to write up my travel journal, so I can discuss the two (2) Tornados I saw this time around, one over the road north from Glasgow and one flying through the valley over Sligachan on Skye (why are these guys are out on training runs as singletons? don't the RAF have a lead/wingman formation?) BTW, saw John Gordon today at the Game Parlor (after the Huns had ridden quite roughshod) over my Late Imperial Romans and I was consoling myself by purchasing the new OSG quadgame...
