I have a selection of photos online at last!

Not sure why all of a sudden my internal clock has gone all haywire, but somehow it's narly 5 am and I'm sitting here uploading pictures. Lucky I don't have to be anywhere early tomorrow.

Go to my picture galleries and you'll find the first batch of photos, pictures from the first day or two of our trip last month. Be warned that the full photos are pretty big (I need to go through and shirnk them all down a bit, at least the copies I put online), so if you are on a slow connection--Mum and Dad, this means you!--do *not* click on them unless you are prepared to wait a while for a really big image.

More tomorrow, along with (finally!) my journal entries on the trip. Or some, at any rate.

More, more, I'm still not satisfied! And less cuddly animals and more of that countryside that leaves me breathless! Those pictures touched one of the pleasure centres of my brain! ::: shiver ::: I'm thinking that my next trip will be to Scotland ...

Just looking at the photos reminds me why I love calling this place home now. The countryside is so varied - from the mountains and ragged coastline of the north, to the rolling hills of the Cotswolds, to the chalk cliffs of the south - and everything in-between.

Such lovely places you got to see!!!

If you need a site with more space for your pics, you might try fotki.com.

Those are great! You have a real touch on some of them.

I LOVE the lambs (bring on fluffy animals, I say). And a got a big chuckle out of Nora claiming the field. (But shouldn't she have been keeping a lookout for mastadons?)
