I love that you are so happy. I mean, it seems to ooze from the monitor. I am so happy for you.
Thank you, cher amie! I really haven't been this happy in years. There have really been only a few people in my life with whom I have been *this* happy, and only one of them cared as much about me as N does and really understood me as well. And I spent 17 years with her, 'till she switched teams. ;-)

One of the things that is so totally miraculous to me is how well we understand each other and how well suited we are to each other. We both still have some stuff to learn about each other, I'm sure, and we still have a fair bit to work out about how to fit into each others' lives. But, given time, I can see something really serious happening here. :-)
(Possible Answer 2. She likes the the division of geek labour between us; I do the computer geek stuff, she does the basketball geek stuff--go ahead, just ask her about March Madness, I dare you. :-)
(Possible Answer 3. She's too busy! I think all of her nightmares these days begin with her sitting in an airline terminal; oh, no, wait, those are her actual days... :-)
