So, our health plan at work changed, and we got stuck with one of the stupid GW Bush Health Savings Accounts (IOW, "We're cutting your benefits and drastically increasing the amount you'll have to pay before your insurance kicks in, but, look, here's a way you can pay the extra thousands of dollars from your pre-tax earnings instead of post-tax income.")
But one bright spot is that I can pay all sorts of things out of the HSA, so as to eat away at the new, much higher deductible. So I sent in my receipts from the therapist, and I just heard that they're goign to pay them. So I'm still out of pocket, but at least it's out-of-pocket money that I was goign to have to spend somehow. And it's pre-tax.
