Mar. 13th, 2011 09:29 amExhausted, but had a good time at Cold Wars. Five DBA games, two big-battle DBA games, two games of Carnage & Glory, and a short stand-in of an 1866 game. Ran into a couple of friends, made a couple more; bought some terrain and, of course, a few more figures. :-) No books and no new rules, though! OK, I did get one module for rules I already own.
A full report will follow, but it may have to follow a day of napping and dozing. I kept fairly reasonable hours (i.e., did not stay up for Midnight Madness, the round-robin that starts at 11pm and ends whenever a winner is decided...) but then last night's closing tournament ran until close to 1, and with the time change and the drive, I didn't make it into my bed until 4! (damn "Spring forward...")
A small breakfast (note to self: BG an inexplicable 128 after a weekend of mediocre food and no exercise), a little cat-petting, and then more sleep! Thanks goodness that at least today is Sunday! And that I have an evening with yet more friends to look forward to...
