lovely weekend
Apr. 18th, 2010 05:46 pmI saw DC United play Chicago (OK, that part wasn't lovely) and had a nice visit and catch-up with the Globetrotter. I Skyped with the Antiquarian. I cleaned the catboxes, washed the dishes, and vacuumed the entire apartment (including the couch). I sent a list of games and books to nobleknightgames to get a quote for taking them off my hands. I spent a very nice afternoon wandering around the azalea-clad hillsides of the National Arboretum with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
shy_kat and redactrice hearing all about their wedding plans. :-) Now I'm going to have some tea and biscuits (Typhoo and Hobnobs, because I am a dyed-in-the-wool Anglophile) and do some home work. Later I will do some laundry, make dinner, and watch Treme. :-) My tax forms arrived at their destinations. My cats are all doing well (Phineas is almost his old self again after the shot the vet gave him the week before last--now he just has to grow his fur back :-).
There are still things I'm concerned about, questions I wish were answered, balls up in the air that I'd like on the ground, but all in all, this has been a very nice weekend and I'm feeling good. :-)
