Any time I'm feel very liberal and "out there", I just have to turn on Pacifica Radio, and I am reassured that I am a socially and environmentally conscious moderate who just lives in a country whose political news culture is dominated by radicals (both conservative and progressive).

I talked to my mum this morning, who told me that my younger sister has informed her that she (my sister)is an alien. Not an illegal alien or a seditious alien. A space alien.

She told Mum she has known this "all my life". When Mum asked, in some confusion, how she had gotten here if she was an alien, was her father an alien too? Victoria apparently replied "Well, duh. Of course!"
