Neta came down yesterday and met my mum and my sisters; we hung out and talked and went out to the store and got my mum a wok (Victoria was making a delicious dinner, but was horrified by the tiny wok that mum had :-). N really liked my family, and I think they liked her a lot too (which is good, as I'm pretty sure she's going to become a permanent fixture :-). I did one or two small chores for my mum, we all had dinner and talked some more, then N and I drove back to DC. We stayed at hers last night; today she's off refereeing a youth tournament (I may go watch for a while--it isn't all the time that *refs* have fans) then she and a friend have a wine-tasting party I've been invited to.
I checked in with mum when I got back to my place (after cleanign up a hailrball--thanks, cats!). No news. I'm goign to keep my mobile around and on a lot more than I'm used to doing, at lest for a while.
