lovely spring day

It's been a simply lovely spring day here in northern Virginia, the sort of cool day with enough warmth during the middle that the cool that comes with evening is welcome. Supposedly it's going to get back to being January Sunday and Monday, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Stayed up way late last night getting ready for a big wargame I was hosting today. All went very well. My buddy Frank, who I play Flames of War with, has really taken to Age of Eagles and had a great time battling today with Steve and Phil and me. He's already started painting Brits, and brought some of his new guys with him to show off--appallingly good! Yeesh! Frank really is an excellent painter. The scenario wasn't as good as it could have been (I always make sure not to make the mistakes I did in the last design--I find new ones!), but everyone had a good time.

Now I need to do my home work (due last night...) and then gen up a move for vikingcat for our Battle of Britain game which I have shamefully neglected! Then some food and bed. Tomorrow some home repairs and a house conference on what we need to do to make the house saleable...
