Feb. 16th, 2004 03:39 pmFa! I have just dusted the entire apartment. I'm sure it could have been done more thoroughly, and the tiresome, boringness of dusting is nothing to the pain in the ass of vacuuming (involveing as it does moving furniture that doesn't want to be moved and banging things into my legs and feet continually because, well, I'm clumsy) which is about to ensue.
However, for probably the first time in 3-4 months, the place has been dusted. And I can mark something off my list for today.
On to the vacumming...

OK, I'm officially exhausted now, by something that took no more effort than walking around, moving some furniture, getting down on the floor and getting up again... The strangeness of how tiring this is is almost matched by the frustratingness of walking back to pull the plug out of the wall so as to move on another room and go past little dust bunnies and bits of dirt lying somewhere you *know* you just vacuumed but are still, now, going to have to vacuum again.
Anyway, it's done. found several red glass pebbles (markers for CCGs) that the cats had purloined and left under a chair with a toy mouse (Nicholas's favourite one, which he was very glad to have back). Time for a break, a Guinness maybe, and a shower before heading off to the grocery store.
