Yes, for those of you playing the home version of "track the sick analyst" I am at home today. I was planning on doing some reading for work during the day, whihc I could do as easily here as at the office, but instead I've been sleeping more or less continually, interspersed with little bits of reading or talking to cats, then lapsing back into dead sleep. I don't know how it's possible, but I actually feel *worse* than I did yesterday. Still plenty of chills. A lot of the pains have moved to the head and neck and weird internal discomfort is now prevalent. I wonder how much of the latter is a result of the Cipro I got prescribed for the UTI that the PA diagnosed; I read the "oh,let us know if any of these side effects occur" literature, and it's truly frightening.

I still need to get the food for tomorrow's tailgate; I was kind of thinking I would do that this afternoon, but tht ain't happening. Hopefully I'll be at least slightly better in the morning.

Now back to bed...

ewww. Cipro is just nasty stuff! I checked it out back when the whole Anthrax thing started (our work email came through brentwood and we never did get about 3 or 4 days worth of mail). I'm kinda glad I haven't been sick in that way all year... but then, this finger tip pain/funkiness really sucks. (and it's spreading) Need to go talk to a cat now...
