Cat Rule 237: If you are feeling queasy and begin sicking up, run quickly from room to room. A cat loses FGP (Feline Grace Points) if he or she is ill in less than four places during a single bout of internal distress.

Addendum to Rule 237: Make sure that those four places are carpeted and not lino or other easily wiped surfaces. Extra points for expensive carpet and / or upholstery.

Of course, if you can get the human to do it themselves (like dropping the extract of malt they're trying to give you for hairballs off their finger onto a couch cushion), so much the better!

I'm not sure which is worse, suddenly stepping on something unexpected and squishy in your stocking feet after a long day at work, or just hearing that sound (particularly if you are, say, lying in bed, nearly asleep), "Hwock, hwock, hwluck! *splat*"
