Wow! That was a really interesting article -- I even read the entire thing. ;-)

I agree about civility. There is a not-inconsiderable part of me that is a gossipy, judgmental, easily-angered bitch, but oh how I TRY to be polite and thoughtful in public. (I think I do a pretty good job, though there's always room for improvement.) I like to think I'm civil because I want people to feel comfortable and respected, not because I want to show everyone that I'm better bred than they are, but who knows? I'm only human. ^_^
