It took me about five minutes to figure out how to solve S=D/T for T. I have got to stop drinking...clearly most of my brain is gone already. Or maybe I should rink more, since most of my brain is gone at this point...

Anyway, I had a very nice bike ride, however long it took (I couldn't remember how to reset the trip computer, see, and all I could figure from the differential was the distance and the speed.... because I had stopped to talk to the landlady, who was out walking her dog...)

It's a lovely morning! Beautiful--this is what I call autumn weather. Sunny, windy (very windy), cold warming up to cool in the afternoon, then windy and dark at night (well, of course it's dark at night...but... oh, nevermind...)

I mean, none of us were all that brainy when we were HS graduates. But come on! Planning to go all the way from Alaska to Hawai'i for college and never stop to consider what the weather might be like?
