game day

Peter replied; is anyone else (local) up for some gaming, on either the 4th or the 5th of November? I've gotten a few more titles since the last big event (yes, *more* ;-) including an interesting-looking card game called En Garde! and some boardgames that are close along the line between historical and more general-audience.

Ohh! I did a demo of En Garde! at GenCon!!

Hey! Do it on the 5th of November and then burn something! Hopefully not the games!

Gaming? oh what? *yawn* Not back gammon, cluedo or monoply then, eh? I've no interest but felt the desire to respond. I'll be at the Urbanna Oyster Festival any how, probably trying to thrown an effigy on the bon fire.

And then there's Cob Coaling for the bonfire, too, not to mention Soul Caking for All Saint's Day. These Brits will do anything to go from door to door!

maybe. Currently no set plans, but I must dye stuff and sell dyed stuff. hmmm.

I 'll be playing Ars MAgica on the 4th. The 5th is our anniversary, so we'll probably be celebrating in some way.

I played three games of En Garde! a few weeks ago. Fun! Fast play, too.

I'm free on the 4th, as [livejournal.com profile] shy_kat will be playing her RPG. As she said, the 5th is anniversay night (I may be doing something with Glenda that morning/early afternoon).

So if you end up doing general board gaming on the 4th, count me in!

Hm. He might not be as free as he thinks he is on the 5th. Glenda and I are going to an open-hearth baking class at Sully Plantation from 9 a.m. to noon, and I think young Ethan has a soccer game at around 2 p.m. :-)
